Have You Found Your White Dress, Yet? ADPi is Here to Help!

Spring has spring and it’s now officially white dress season! This will make finding your white dress for Convention a whole lot easier.

Every Convention attendee needs to have a white dress or white skirt suit, white slacks are not allowed, complete with white shoes for the Adelphean Processional.

Adelphean Processional, for first time attendees, is a Convention tradition that dates back to1941. Participants wear white and have blue satin ribands with our motto “We Live For Each Other” pinned to their outfit. The Adelphean Processional is a part of the formal opening of Convention.

Now we all know that finding a flattering, Convention appropriate outfit for Adelphean Processional is a lot harder than one might think. White shoes are just not easy to come by.

  1. I look each convention year for a new white dress, but always keep the last dress until I find a new one. I hold on to my white shoes….they are truly hard to find. Select a traditional style and you will never go wrong.

  2. Do the shoes have to be completely white? Or do you mean the straps (or top)? I see many shoes with cork bottom/sides but the top/straps are plain white.
